A mobile home fire has killed two people in Waterloo. The fire broke out around 2:00 yesterday afternoon in a mobile home court on the southern edge of Waterloo.

Witnesses reported seeing a man run out the front door of the home, catch on fire, and then try to run back inside. His body was found on the front porch of the home. Another body was discovered inside. The names of the two people who died have not been released and the cause of the fire is not yet known.

The home is said to be a total loss.
