A police officer in West Columbia, South Carolina is accused of sending explicit photos of himself to a teenage girl in Iowa. Thirty-year-old Andrew Alan Haney is charged with interstate commerce of obscene materials to a person under 16.

Authorities say Haney met a 13-year-old girl in Polk County, Iowa through a social media website. In one of the explicit pictures he sent the girl, Haney’s police badge with the South Carolina state seal is visible in the photo.

The police chief in West Columbia says Haney has been fired from the force.
