Cyclones face another rated team on the road

October 14, 2013 By Todd Kimm

After falling to 1-4 with a loss at 20th ranked Texas Tech things get even tougher for the Iowa State Cyclones who next up visit 12th ranked Baylor. The Cyclone defense was torched by the Red Raiders with more than 660 yards of offense in a 42-35 loss.

Special teams and tech turnovers kept ISU in the hunt as the Cyclone defense recovered two fumbles and also had one interception. It was a rough day for quarterback Sam Richardson, who connected on only 15 of 38 passes for 168 yards.
