Des Moines police investigate alleged beating posted on Facebook

January 3, 2014 By Matt Kelley

A central Iowa boy was badly beaten this week and the person who allegedly beat him reportedly posted pictures of the attack and comments on Facebook.  Sixteen-year-old Nathan Rogers of Des Moines reportedly went to a friend’s house on Tuesday, which is where the attack occured.

Reports say Rogers was knocked out, has a concussion and broken bones in his face. He was hospitalized for a day and his mother is quoted saying he’ll need plastic surgery. Des Moines Police say they’ve made no arrests, as yet, in the assault.
