Fenton man sentenced to prison for sex crimes involving children

February 4, 2014 By Dar Danielson

A Kossuth County man will spend nearly 30 years in prison after admitting to sex crimes involving children. Fifty-four-year-old Timothy Koenck of Fenton pled guilty in September to one count of enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity, two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of committing a felony involving a minor by a person required to register as a sex offender.

Koenck  had been convicted in 2002 of enticement of a minor and possession of child pornography. He was sentenced on the latest charges in U.S. District Court in Sioux City to 355 months in federal prison.
