The Knoxville Raceway will be getting some national television exposure this summer. The famed dirt track debuted a new television show this month. The Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Cup Series shows airs weekly on MAVTV. General Manager Brian Stickel says the network has added a lot of racing programming that used to be shown on the Speed Channel.

Stickel says Lucas Oil has embraced the events at Knoxville and around the country and he appreciates what they have done.

Stickel says the show will air at 11am and 2pm each Thursday. “Our agreement with them is for 18-20 half-hour shows. And our exposure we feel can be phenomenal,” Stickel says. He says MAV is in 65 million homes nationwide, which he says gives them lots of exposure.
