Des Moines police releasing few details on Sunday murder

Des-Moines-PD-logoDes Moines police are trying to put together the details on a fatal shooting Sunday. Two men were shot in the Court Avenue area west of the state capitol just after one in the morning Sunday.

Des Moines police say 21-year-old Edmanual Perez died at the hospital and 23-year-old Andrew Hurley-Boyd remains in the hospital, and his condition was not released. Both men are from Des Moines.

Police say they are following leads and working to locate potential suspects in the shooting, but they have not released any other details on what happened.
