The Iowa State women’s basketball team will be out to snap a three game losing skid at home against TCU.
The Cyclones are 3-4 in the Big 12 Conference after a home loss to fourth ranked Baylor.
“Our effort is fine and I don’t have any qualms with the way we have practiced and the way we have played but basketball is about effort and execution”, said Iowa State coach Bill Fennelly. “Our execution has not been real good as of late as far as making shots and defensively so we have got to get that worked out.”
Fennelly says junior forward Seanna Johnson’s availability will be a game time decision. Johnson injured her knee in the second half of the loss to Baylor but was able to return to the game.
TCU is 3-5 in the Big 12 and 11-8 overall.
