Cyclist killed during eastern Iowa fundraiser

Ambulance-Back-DoorA Muscatine cyclist on a fundraising bike ride has been struck and killed.

Troopers say 40-year-old Lisa Kuhn died after being struck Saturday morning in rural Muscatine County by a car driven by 28-year-old Ryan McKillip of West Liberty. Kuhn was participating in the third annual “Pedaling for Pancreatic Cancer” bicycle fundraiser. The ride began in Muscatine.

The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
