Body of missing Luther College student found in Upper Iowa River

AmbulanceThe search for a missing Luther College student has ended with his body found in a local river.

Decorah Police say the body of 21-year-old Bjorn Norderhaug was found Sunday morning in the Upper Iowa River near Decorah. Authorities say he was last seen early Saturday morning shortly before 2 a.m. in downtown Decorah.

College officials say Norderhaug was a computer science major from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The incident remains under investigation.
