A Davenport man is in fair condition following a freak auto accident. 57-year-old Charles Williams was eastbound on Interstate 80 in Davenport Sunday afternoon when one of his tires blew out. His minivan went into the median and rolled. Williams was ejected and thrown onto the westbound lanes of the interstate. There he was hit by a pick-up truck driven by 41-year-old Robert Scott of Blue Grass. Two passengers riding with Williams were treated for minor injuries and released. Scott was not injured.
