Clinton police are trying to determine how a man was thrown from a pickup truck and killed yesterday afternoon. Captain Charles Witt says the body of 40-year-old Dale Novak Junior was found on the shoulder of highway 30. Novak had been riding in the back of a pickup driven by Deborah Andrews of Clinton. Investigators are trying to determine what caused Novak to fall out of the pickup.
