The Iowa women dropped a 74-64 decision to Michigan State in Big Ten play. The Hawkeyes trimmed a 14-point Spartan advantage to four in the second half but that was as close as they got. Iowa assistant coach Dana Eickenberg says the Hawks just waited too long to get going.Iowa is 6-15 overall and 3-8 in the Big Ten and Eickenberg believes they are a better team than the record shows.
