With Spring drills at about the mid-way point, Iowa State football coach DanMcCarney says he is happy with the progress. McCarney says one of the thingsthat has stood out this spring is the amount of experience the Cycloneshave on the team.McCarney says the competition at quarterback has been spirited. A number ofplayers are battling to replace Todd Bandhauer as the starter.McCarney says the nice weather this spring has prompted a lot of Cyclonefans to stop by and watch the workouts.The Cyclones will hold their annual Spring game on April 17th.
