The Iowa Cubs will open their home season tonight with a Pacific CoastLeague matchup against Las Vegas. More than nine thousand tickets havealready been sold due mostly to the presence of pitcher Hideo Nomo who makeshis second start for Iowa enroute to a spot in the Chicago Cubs rotation. Ithas made for an intersting week for Cub officials according to GeneralManager Sam Bernabe.The weather will threaten the game but Bernabe says they will do whateverthey can to get it started.Bernabe says if it is not raining tonight they should be able to get thegame in.
