Buchanan, who iscampaigning throughout the state today, held a news conference this morningat a farm equipment dealership in Indianola.Buchanan says the Clinton Administration has refused to use its leverage tocrack open foreign markets for U.S. agricultural commodities.Senate Republican Leader Trent Lott has said democrats are blowing theplight of farmers way out of proportion — and Lott believes Congress shouldwait ’til after the fall harvest to make ANY decisions about farm aid.Buchanan says somebody should grab lot by the lapels and ask him how the U-SGovernment can bail out foreign countries, but not help farmers.Buchanan visits Knoxville, Pella, Washington, Oskaloosa and Mt.
