Many Iowans are letting it all hang out in this warm weather and that’s the naked truth. When it hits 80 in November, Iowans find all sorts of ways to celebrate. Linda Pace is membership marketing director for the Florida-based American Association for Nude Recreation. She says with this warm weather, those who like to lose their clothes in the Hawkeye State are getting a bonus.Pace says when you shed your clothes, you also shed stress. She says Iowa is among few states where there is no official nudist camp. Pace says there is an Iowa club that organizes trips for nudists, The Dakota Prairie Sun Club, which is based in Estherville.Pace says other nudist groups are quietly active statewide. When the real November weather returns, she says Iowa nudists rent indoor pools & bowling alleys for their fun. For more information, call 800 TRY NUDE.
