The dry weather conditions are causing problems for the new riverboat casino in Osceola. The boat is being built on the north side of West Lake and must be moved a quarter-mile south to the area where it will operate. Boat owner William Grace says that’s become a problem because the lake has dropped to its lowest level ever. Grace is exploring other ways to move the boat. He says he can wait until next week for some rain before he’ll have to look at other options.Grace says the rain isn’t the only thing that’s dried up — there’s also a shortage of workers to finish the interior construction of the boat. He says that’s making it tough to get the boat ready by the December 15th deadline.Grace says he won’t open the boat unless everything is finished.
