Buchholtz (buckles) says you can avoid the traffic snarls by planning your trip around the busy travel times. She also urges you to drive carefully. You can expect to pay a little more to fuel up for the trip as the average price for gas in Iowa is one dollar and sixteen cents a gallon, compared to 98 cents a gallon last year.Buchholtz says you’ll see more big trucks on the road during this holiday as it’s a busy time for truckers supplying materials for the holidays.
