Buena Vista University will honor long-time wrestling coach Al Baxter prior to tomorrow night’s Iowa Conference dual with Central. Baxter has been the coach at Buena Vista for 22-seasons and this past week earned his 300th dual meet victory at the Florida Duals. He says he didn’t really think about it until he got around 270.Records like this reflect longevity. Baxter says he has been in coaching so long because he loves it.Baxter says he has been fortunate to coach a number of outstanding competitors.Baxter began his coaching career at Lisbon high school.
