Instead of taking part in the Iowa Caucuses tonight, about 50 anti-abortion activists from Iowa have chartered a bus to Washington D-C. They’ll be joining some 50-thousand other demonstrators for the 27th annual “March for Life,” concluding with a rally outside the White House.Today’s march coincides with the 1973 U-S Supreme Court ruling, Roe versus Wade, which legalized abortion. Kimberly Laube is executive director of Iowans for Life. She says she and the 50-some other Iowans felt the Washington D-C march was more important than staying in Iowa for the presidential caucuses. Laube says it was a tough choice, due to the timing of both events.Laube says the group includes Iowans from areas around Des Moines, Iowa City and Dubuque.
