The Sioux City Art Center will soon be showcasing works from some of the world’s most famous artists. Art Center director Ronald Bernier says Sioux City will be the first U-S stop for a major exhibition.Bernier says the exhibition’s 51 paintings will go on display in Sioux City before moving on to cities like Seattle and Atlanta. Bernier says the paintings are from the private collection of a Mexico City tycoon. The exhibition, which opens March 18th, will be in Sioux City for two months and is free to the public. One of the curators of the exhibit is the former director of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art.
