Iowa State forward Marcus Fizer expects to draw a lot of attention when the Cyclones take on U-C-L-A tomorrow night in the semifinal round of the Midwest regional in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Fizer faced a lot of double teaming in the victory over Auburn, but Fizer says it didn’t work because the Cyclones won the game. He says he welcomes all the attention because it takes pressure off of him to do well and also takes pressure off his teammates and allows them to do well. Fizer says the Auburn game was proof that slowing him down does not mean the Cyclones will struggle.Iowa State plays UCLA in Auburn Hills, Michigan Thursday at 9:55 pm.
