It was one year ago today that fire destroyed the historic St. Paul Lutheran church in Fort Dodge. Last month, a Fort Dodge man was sentenced to 20-years in prison for causing the blaze. Reverand Al Henderson says the congregation is looking forward to how best to build a new church that will serve everyone. Henderson does not expect the new church to look like the former one. He says they want something with a sense of history, that also fits the new millennium. There are currently 14-hundred members of St. Paul Luthern. Services are being held in a nearby school gymnasium.
