Former Northern Iowa standout Bryce Paup is looking for a fresh start to his N-F-L career. The Scranton native signed with the Minnesota Vikings this week after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Paup says he is excited to be part of the Viking defense. He says the Vikings want him to play in a down position on the right end.Paup says he is also glad to be back in the Midwest. It will give his family and friends more opportunity to see him play.Paup says he does not know how much longer he will play in the league. He says he’ll go year-to-year depending on how he feels each year. Paup says he wants to be able to play with his kids when he retires.Paup is a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
