Lansing Kee High makes a 13th appearance at the summer state baseball tournament on Wednesday. The Kee Hawks are top ranked in class 1-A and play Iowa City Regina in the opener in Carroll. The school has claimed eight state titles but the last one came back in 1992 and coach Gene Schultz says for them it has been a drought.Schultz says this team may have done as good a job reaching its potential as any he has had.From the beginning of the season Kee High scored a lot of runs. Schultz says the biggest improvement during the season has been pitching.
