There is a new top ranked team in class 4A in the final Radio Iowa high school football poll. West Des Moines Dowling climbs two spots and edged out Cedar Falls for the top spot in the 4A survey after previously top ranked Iowa City High lost to Cedar Rapids Jefferson. Cedar Falls is second, Jefferson third, Davenport Assumption fourth and Iowa City High fifth. The other top ranked teams remain the same. Denison-Schleswig is top ranked in 3A, Clear Lake is second then its Grinnell, Harlan and Boyden Hull Rock Valley. Solon leads in 2A, Emmetsburg is second and rounding out the top five its Mount Vernon, North Fayette and West Hancock. In 1A, West Lyon is top ranked followed by Aplington-Parkersburg, Southern Cal Council Bluffs St. Albert and West Branch. In class A, Manning is top ranked West Central of Maynard is second and completing the top five, West Bend Mallard, Treynor and Northwood-Kensett.
