A bill designed to help Americans invest in Individual Retirement Accounts passed the U-S House on Wednesday, with praise from Iowa Representative Tom Latham. It raises the contribution limit from two thousand dollars a year to five thousand and would allow people over 50 to put in up to five thousand a year. Latham says the measure also targets 401-K plans. The republican from Alexander says it’ll help encourage people to “save great wealth for themselves” through I-R-As.
