Army National Guard troops called to duty during Mississippi River flooding will go home this week. Guard spokesman Robert King says almost all troops will be released from active duty. A few will remain at local armories to handle maintenance work on equipment they brought out for the flood fight. It was April 17th when they were first called out to help residents tackle the rising waters. 225 Army National Guard personnel were called up for the operation.
