Clean up is underway at John O’Donnell Stadium in Davenport where floodwater from the Mississippi River forced the Quad City River Bandits baseball team to relocate and officials hope the team can return in a little more than a month. Jeff Farland is director of leisure facilities and services for the city and says the playing surface is in pretty good shape.Farland says at this point they are focusing on the clean up before checking out the structural integrity of the stadium.Farland says while the team still does not have a home, the damage could have been a lot worse.Farland says the team should be able to resume its home schedule early in the second half of the season.
