An accused bank robber will be facing more charges. When police in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, pulled over 48-year-old Anthony Flowers late in April, they pulled up a warrant and found he was wanted for a holdup last September at a bank in Cedar rapids. They took him into custody, but jailers say he escaped, took a Sioux Falls woman hostage and made her drive him to Sioux City. A month later they arrested Flowers in Dubuque. He’ll remain jailed without bond until his trial, set for August. But by next week, the U-S attorney’s office says other charges are likely to be added to bank robbery.
