A 65-million-dollar steamboat is all dressed up with no place to go. The American Queen, the world’s largest steamboat, can carry up to 400 passengers but it’s stuck in Davenport due to a breakdown at Lock and Dam 15. The Queen arrived in Davenport yesterday and was supposed to be there only five hours. Now, it may not leave until Wednesday. Crews are working around-the-clock to repair the 600-foot lock. Barges and towboats are backing up while a smaller back-up lock is used. It’s 360-feet long. The Queen is 418-feet long.
