With business travel returning to normal, and the holiday season less than two months away, are Iowans changing travel plans after this month’s terrorist attacks out East? Iowans may be traveling a bit less, but their fear of flying took a day or two to kick in, according to a Marshalltown travel agent. Colleen Baie, at Triple-A Travel in Marshalltown, says when the World Trade Center was attacked two weeks ago, she first got calls from grounded travelers who wanted to continue their trips.A lot of callers still wanted to travel when planes were first grounded, but with time lost enthusiasm for travel. Baie says she didn’t find many irate travelers insisting on being re-booked when planes were grounded. Baie says this is prime time for scheduling holiday travel, but she’s not seeing the volume of calls that come in a normal year…yet.A lot of people are debating whether they’ll travel at all, change to the train or even rent a car.
