Two trial dates are now set for a guidance counselor at Elkader Central High School who’s charged with improperly touching two female students. Stephen Regan is scheduled to appear in Clayton County court on November 8th and 15th on simple assault charges. He’s pleaded -not- guilty to each charge and has requested jury trials in each case. Regan is accused of touching two students, under their clothing, in a manner considered insulting or offensive. Regan is on paid administrative leave. If convicted, each charge carries up to a 30-day jail term and a 500-dollar fine.
