If you’re looking for a way to work off some of that Thanksgiving food, you might want to make a trip to eastern Iowa. The Ushers Ferry Historic Village is hosting a candlelight tour Friday and Saturday. Ushers Ferry, which is located near Cedar Rapids, is the re-creation of a small Iowa town at the turn of the Century. Vicki Hughes, a spokesperson for the village, says tours begin at four p-m and continue through eight p-m.If you decide to go later in the evening, you’ll need some help, bring a flashlight. Hughes says you’ll get a look of how early Iowans celebrated Thanksgiving.The cost of the tour is three dollars for adults, two dollars for kids five to 12 years old.
