The Iowa Hawkeyes look for a second straight victory when they visit Purdue in Big Ten play. Purdue has struggled to a 2-5 Big Ten record under veteran coach Gene Keady, but Iowa coach Steve Alford says the Boilermakers always give maximum effort.Alford juggled his lineup against the Spartans and Luke Recker opened on the bench. The lineup for tomorrow has not been finalized. He says they’ll decide after another day of practice what their starting lineup will be.Alford says they need to get another good effort out of Recker.Purdue is coming off a home victory against Northwestern and coach Gene Keady says defense has been their primary concern, as he says they’re opponents field goal percentage is way up.
