Governor Tom Vilsack today signed a bill into law that bans human cloning in the state.Medical researchers objected to an earlier version of the bill, fearing their projects would be sidelined, but Vilsack says the final version of the bill should allow that research to continue.Vilsack says it’s pretty clear that Iowans aren’t ready to embrace human cloning.
