University of Iowa Health Care’s rated among the nation’s best, right up there with Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic. U-S News and World Report ranks the U of I Hospitals and Clinics among its “America’s Best Hospitals.” Nine of the clinic’s specialties rank among the top 50 in the annual survey, including psychiatry, urology, cancer treatment, rheumatology, respiratory disorders, and neurosurgery. And the University’s specialties of orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology and otolaryngology — ear, nose and throat — are among the nation’s top ten, as ranked in the July 22nd issue of the magazine.
