A home that was the site of a grisly slaying in Sioux City will be sold. It was Labor Day weekend 2001 when Sioux City police discovered the bodies of Leticia Aguilar and her five children at their home, the bloodiest crime local authorities say they’d ever seen in the city. Aguilar’s boyfriend, Adam Moss, pleaded guilty to killing them all, and a friend of Aguilar’s. The home was turned over to Neighborhood Network, a local volunteer group that builds parks in Sioux City. Volunteers repainted the home and replaced carpet and the house is now on the market, with an asking price below 25-thousand dollars. Money raised from the sale of the home pay for building a playground at a local park.
