Waterloo girl accused of leaving threatening note

The investigation continues into a threatening note found at a Waterloo school earlier this week. The note was found on a desk at Central Middle School in Waterloo, and reportedly indicated bringing a gun to school and harming other students. The note was traced to an eighth grade student. The girl, whose name is not being released, was taken to a medical facility for evaluation. Waterloo Police say no charges have been filed.
