A fund has been set up to help a family from the eastern Iowa town of Scotch Grove after several tragedies, including a fire that gutted their home this week. The home of the Don Eilers family was destroyed on Monday. In 1992, the family’s home was flattened by a tornado, while their barn was leveled by strong winds five years later. The Citizens State Bank in Monticello has established a fund in the family’s name. Anyone can donate to help the family out.
