The trial for a Waterloo nurse being held in Indonesia resumes today. 56-year old Joy Lee Sadler has been held in Indonesia along with British researcher Lesley Jane McCulloch since September 11th, when they were arrested on alleged tourist visa violations. Prosecutors decided not to pursue more serious espionage charges against the two. The trial wasdelayed after Thanksgiving when the judge called a recess until today because of the end of the Muslim holiday of Idul Fitri (ee-dool fit-ruh). Sadler and McCulloch were arrested on allegations they tried to contact rebels of the Free Aceh (uh-cheh) movement. Both women deny those charges.
