Three St. Ansgar teens have been arrested as as part of an accident investigation in which a Grafton man crashed his truck in a construction site. The three teens are alleged to have removed barricades and warning signs from a construction site on Warbler Avenue north of Grafton before 38-year-old Randy Severson driving into a 15-foot-deep trench in the roadway. Arrested were 18-year-old Mathew Stromley, 15-year-old Cory Tesch, and 16-year-old Josh Johnson. All three have been charged with first-degree criminal mischief, a “Class C” felony which carries a maximum fine of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Stromley is being held in the Worth County Jail on $13-thousand bond, and will have his preliminary hearing on December 30th. Johnson and Tesch are scheduled to see a juvenile court judge later today. Severtson remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
