The Iowa State basketball team will return from the holiday break for its third and final in-state game on December 29th with a visit to Northern Iowa. The Cyclones moved to 8-1 after a 76-55 win over Drake on Sunday. It marked the third-straight win for the Cyclones. Junior guard Jake Sullivan said on the Cyclone Network that they are gaining confidence. Sullivan says they’ve got a little streak going, and after finals — the team’s relaxed. Sullivan says with finals out of the way, the Cyclones can use the time to improve before the start of conference play. Sullivan says the Cyclones had four, hard practices this week and he predicts with intensity and improvement “this team could go a long ways.”
