Iowa band in Florida, won’t march much

The University of Iowa’s band is in Miami for today’s Orange Bowl, but they won’t be doing a lot of marching. The Orange Bowl has a big halftime celebration planned that will include Shaggy and SheDaisy so, as Hawkeye bandmember Andy Peterson of Algona explains, the band will do their show from the stands. Peterson and the others say they don’t mind that much as they’re having a great time in Florida, and are hoping to be able to play for a big Orange Bowl victory party.
