With so few players staying injury free has been critical for the Iowa Hawkeyes and they have managed to do so, until now. Junior Center Jared Reiner suffered a sprained right knee in the final minute of Saturday’s loss to Ohio State and will out for an indefinite period. Iowa coach Steve Alford says the worst case scenario is Reiner will be out three weeks. He says Sean Sonderlieter will get some additional minutes to fill the gap. He says they have a week off to try and work things out, but since they aren’t a deep team, he says they don’t have many options.
