Lawyers for a northwest Iowa woman who’s accused in her son’s murder now want records from prosecutors and law enforcement. 34-year-old Lisa Boss’ lawyers are asking for a Plymouth County court order for many documents used in the prosecution of her husband, Donald, last year. Authorities allege the Boss’ killed their adopted ten-year-old son, Timothy, three years ago. Donald Boss is serving a life sentence for the murder. Lisa Boss’ attorneys want a transcript of Donald Boss’ trial, saying, the cases are so closely intertwined that a complete review of the testimony is needed to defend Lisa Boss. She’s scheduled for trial July 29th.
