Drake cries foul after refs don’t against Shockers

Drake led Wichita State by one at the half but the Shockers took command for an 80-70 Missouri Valley Conference victory in Des Moines. Drake center Greg Danielson got took quick fouls and never was much of a factor. Coach Kurt Kanaskie got a first half “T” and was not pleased with how the game was called. Kanaskie says Wichita State didn’t have one foul in the last 13 minutes and 58 seconds, despite playing tight man-to-man defense. Drake had 10 three-pointers in the game but guard David Newman said the Shockers made the hustle plays.
