Voters turned in a mixed result in the Allamakee Community School District in eastern Iowa yesterday. Voters approved a levy to generate 375-thousand dollars for building maintenance. Voters turned down a nine-point-seven-five million dollar bond issue that would’ve financed the construction of a new middle school and gym in Waukon. The bond issue needed 60 percent approval, and got only 58 percent.
