A key Iowa Conference softball doubleheader in Indianola this afternoon will go a long way toward determing the leage title as Simpson hosts Central.Simpson is second ranked nationally but the Storm are 10-2 in the league race after being swept by Coe over the weekend. Coach Henry Christowski’s team is a game behind Central in the loss column and needs to bounce back.Central is riding a 14-game winning streak and Christowski says they hope to stop the momentum. Christowski says being a game back means the pressure is on his team.Central has a one game lead over Simpson and Wartburg but finish the season on the road against both teams this week.Central coach George Wares expects to face a Simpson team eager to bounce back from last weekend.
